About Me

I am an Adult Psychotherapist with a PGD in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from WPF Therapy London. I am also trained in and draw upon CBT, attachment techniques and Jungian thinking.

I have 15 years experience of working in the mental health field with adults and older adolescents in universities, in a bereavement counselling organisation, in a community counselling service, in the NHS and in private practice. I also provide group supervision in a community counselling service and supervise in private practice.

I have specialist experience, training and a keen interest in working with young adults in 18 to 30 years age group. I am passionate about my work with young people as early therapy has the potential to transform psychological health, aid healing and change unhealthy and destructive patterns and ways of relating. This can allow the young person to develop and grow into themselves and reach their potential in life, love and work. Please see more on this in the additional page on this website. I also work with older adults. My experience encompasses ages through all the decades.

I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment in which to explore difficulties.

I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I hold professional indemnity insurance, have enhanced DBS status and I am registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
